FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How long will it take to create my jewellery piece?

As long as as we have your chosen item in stock, your finished item should be returned to you within 14 days of us receiving your inclusions.

All Gold pieces are handmade to order, and we advise that this can take between 6-10 weeks to craft and create. We will keep you updated on the progress of your piece throughout the process.

Can I have my jewellery delivered to an alternative address?

Yes - of course! As we return all completed traditional pieces via a tracked/signed for service - a signature will be required. Please consider this when placing the order to ensure no un-necessary delays are encountered. If you have any concerns - please get in touch and let us know.

What happens to the Ashes while in your care?

As someone who is well rehearsed in Ashes handling, we can wholeheartedly guarantee that your Inclusions are treated with the highest level of dignity and respect.

Upon receipt, your Inclusions are clearly labelled with your name and order number. They are then placed into a clear sealed pack, then into my individual pending trays where they remain until it is time to add them to the resin.

I only ever work with one clients ashes at a time and I do record all my Inclusion making processes.

If there are more Ashes/Hair than required, these will be resealed and handed back to you at your fitting appointment or posted back to you for safe keeping with your traditional jewellery.

How do I care for my jewellery?

Permanent jewellery pieces - As permanent pieces cannot be removed as easily as traditional pieces, some additional care is required to keep your piece looking its best. While all our products are classed as “water-resistant” - with varying exposure to chemicals and differing lifestyles, the longevity of your piece can vary somewhat. Resin will fade over time and Sterling Silver will naturally tarnish but silver can be restored and maintained with a regular polish.

You will be advised thoroughly at your appointment for the best aftercare, but to keep your piece looking its best, dry thoroughly immediately after exposure to water and avoid prolonged exposure to chemicals, heat and sunlight. For most chains, a very soft toothbrush and gentle dish soap can work wonders!

There are additional options to elevate the appearance of your piece over time, and we also offer a cleaning service - I will discuss these at your appointment.

For traditional pieces - By removing your jewellery and avoiding prolonged exposure to chemicals, sunlight and heat, you will substantially increase the longevity of your piece.

What materials do you use?

We use 925 Sterling Silver, 9ct Solid Gold and 14k Gold filled metals in our product catalogue - all materials are clearly identified on individual listings. All 9ct solid Gold items are hallmarked.

How do I find out my ring size?

If you are local, you can pop and see me at any of my pop-up locations as I always have a ring sizer with me, alternatively, any local jewellers will help, and would be recommended for accuracy.

I do not work with adjustable rings, so ring sizes do need to be provided as I am unable to replace or refund once the inclusions are set.
