1. Introduction

By purchasing and receiving a permanent jewellery service from LinQed by Lisa/LinQed, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These policies ensure a smooth experience for all customers while maintaining the quality, safety, and integrity of our services.

2. Appointments & Bookings

  • Walk-ins & Appointments: LinQed operates at pop-up events and select local venues. Pre-booking is required unless otherwise stated.
  • Cancellations & Rescheduling: If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice where applicable.

3. Age & Consent Policy

  • Customers must be 16 years or older to receive permanent welded jewellery.
  • Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by a legal guardian, who must provide written consent.
  • By proceeding with the service, you confirm that you are of legal age or have obtained the appropriate consent.

4. The Permanent Jewellery Process

  • Safety & Comfort: The welding process is quick, painless, and safe. A protective shield is used for added precaution.
  • Custom Fit: All permanent jewellery is custom-measured and fitted to ensure a comfortable and secure fit. Once welded, adjustments cannot be made.
  • Charm Additions: Additional charms or pendants can be added at the time of welding or later through our re-welding service.

5. Refunds & Exchanges

  • As each piece is custom-made and permanently welded, all sales are final, and we do not offer refunds or exchanges.
  • If there is a fault in the chain within 7 days of purchase, we will assess and repair it at no charge. Any fault or breakage at the welding point will be repaired free of charge for the lifetime of the piece.
  • If your jewellery breaks due to wear and tear or external damage, we offer a re-welding or repair service at an additional cost.

6. Breakage & Repairs

  • While we use high-quality materials and expert craftsmanship, jewellery is not indestructible.
  • If your jewellery gets caught, pulled, or subjected to excessive force, it may break at the welded point—this is a safety feature to prevent injury.
  • If your piece breaks, we offer a re-welding service, which may be subject to a small fee.

7. Medical & Security Considerations

  • Permanent jewellery is made from precious metals and will not set off airport security scanners.
  • If you require an MRI or medical procedure, you may need to remove your jewellery. In this case, it can be cut at the welded point and re-welded afterward.
  • If you anticipate needing to remove your jewellery frequently, we recommend opting for a clasped version instead.

8. Care & Maintenance

  • Gold-Filled & Sterling Silver: To maintain the shine and longevity of your jewellery, avoid exposure to harsh chemicals, lotions, chlorine, and saltwater.
  • Cleaning: Use a soft cloth, mild soap, and warm water to clean your jewellery. Store it in a dry, airtight container when not in use.

9. Liability Waiver

  • LinQed is not responsible for any allergic reactions, irritation, or discomfort that may occur due to metal sensitivities. We recommend verifying metal compatibility before proceeding.
  • LinQed is not liable for damage, loss, or breakage that occurs due to misuse, accidents, or improper care after the welding process is complete.

  • LinQed reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.
  • Any updates will be communicated via our website and social media platforms.
